When installing Skelder you may come across the error in your command prompt saying
error: EPERM. Have you analyzed why they occur in a windows environment?
Solution:
We would suggest you few tips to overcome some difficult situations. Once you choose the operating system like Windows to install Skedler you either install in a standalone machine (windows 7 or higher) or in a windows server (2012 R2 or above).
Due to security reasons, clients install firewalls, antivirus and endpoint security in their environment in order to secure them. We recommend our users to whitelist the Skelder folder after the successful download of Skedler.
Skedler uses Puppeteer chrome to run our UI, before proceeding with the installation. Kindly make sure the puppeteer chrome is whitelisted and permitted for the dedicated Skedler’s folder so that when you unzip the Skedler folder, the supporting files will not be missed and you can have a hassle-free experience of Skedler.
Here the problem is the antivirus security was blocking write permissions to the folder. In particular "Tamper Protection" due to that, some customers have the problem of running Skedler.
