How to Configure Notification channel in Skedler

This document will walk you through the steps to configure your email/slack notification channel on Skedler, Which will help you distribute Skedler reports.

Skedler supports multiple mailing services like Gmail, Outlook, SendGrid, and others.

1. If you are using mailing services like Outlook, SendGrid, or others, you can proceed with entering your outgoing server details (Server DNS name) and Port Number.

For e.g., smtp.gmail.com

25 or 587 (unencrypted/TLS connections)

Outlook

For e.g., smtp.office365.com (Sever DNS name)

25 or 587 (unencrypted/TLS connections)

465 (SSL connections)

Sendgrid

For e.g., smtp.sendgrid.net (Sever DNS name)

25 or 587 (unencrypted/TLS connections)

465 (SSL connections)



2. If you are using mailing services like Gmail or SES, you can proceed by entering the valid username and Sender’s email and password.
(Note, If you've enabled 2-Step Verification, Create and use the App password as Sender's password)-

3. To set up a slack notification channel to distribute Skedler Reports. You can proceed by creating an App token.
