How to Access Skedler Log File for Troubleshooting

When you face a problem with Skedler, the support team will request you to send the log files for Skedler.  You can find the log files for Skedler v5.x and above in the following default location:

  1. Download from UI
  2. Download from the server log folder 


Download from UI

Click on the help button and you can see the Download Logs option



Click the Download Logs button.  The log files will be downloaded as a zip file.

If you are unable to download the log files from the Skedler UI, you can access them from the following location on the server where Skedler is deployed:

Linux or Docker

The default location for Skedler log file is /var/opt/skedler-xg/log directory.

Note: If you have customized the log file location in reporting.yml then you should navigate to that directory.
cd /var/opt/skedler-xg/log

If you have been running Skedler for a few days, you would find a number of log files in this directory.  Look for the skedler.log file. Send the skedler.log file to support@skedler.com


Windows

The default location for Skedler log file is C:/skedler-xg-system-files.

If you have been running Skedler for a few days, you would find a number of log files in this directory.  Look for the skedler.log file. Send the skedler.log file to support@skedler.com
